I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone at Peru For Less for their level of professionalism and knowledge. Having traveled extensively we were hesitant in seeking a travel agency at first but after asking a few questions I was certain that the advice I was given was sincere and accurate. I did not want a packaged tour and Aleks (our travel advisor) asked specific questions about my expectations and the sites we wanted to see, then he literally took the ball and ran with it, creating the exact itinerary we were looking for.

Having someone meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel creates an atmosphere of relaxation and eliminates the usual stress of travel. A Peru For Less agent met us at each of our varied destinations to provide information and answer any questions we had. The hotel selections could not have been better and the tour guides who escorted us were not only knowledgeable but obviously motivated by a desire to introduce their culture and customs to those of us lucky enough to visit. I would name them individually but I'm afraid I might leave someone out and every single person we met from Peru For Less on our 11-day visit was great!

Macchu Pichu was unforgettable as was every other destination on out trip. We were left to explore on our own and the guided tours we selected only enhanced our desire to someday return. Thank you!

Thank you so much for working with us to arrange a great vacation even though our decision to travel was made at the last minute. Thanks also for your concern and assistance especially when we had trouble adjusting to the high altitude. We truly enjoyed the entire trip and it would be difficult to say which place or tour we enjoyed most.

At each destination, the guides and drivers were always punctual, courteous, helpful, and really knowledgeable. Everything was timed well and we never felt lost or alone.

All of the hotels were clean and comfortable and the staff of each was friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed La Hacienda Bahia in Paracas and could have spent the entire trip at this beautiful hotel, which also has an excellent restaurant and bar. Casa San Blas in Cusco was also noteworthy with the large two-level room and beautiful view of Cusco. We would like to mention also how helpful the staff at Casa Andina Colca was when we were dealing with the worst of the altitude sickness.

This tour gave a great taste of Peru and makes me want more. The beauty, history, and diversity of the landscapes of Peru are truly amazing. Next time, I will be sure to include more time for exploring and shopping in cities like Lima, Arequipa, and Cusco, and for visiting museums and artisans' workshops.

Where to begin about the trip? Arrivals and departures from airport to hotel, hotel to airport, and the pick-ups and drop-offs for tours all went well. Each representative was informative and friendly.

Our favorite part of the trip by far was Huayna Picchu and then Machu Picchu. The hikes and views were AMAZING! The train ride to and from were great.

You and Peru For Less were awesome. You were timely in responses and informative and thank you for being there when our flight was rescheduled due to the toxic fumes during takeoff.

All in all, the trip was fantastic and memorable. Thank you again for everything Matt. You have inspired me to travel more if not become a travel agent myself!!

Thank you for helping us plan our recent early autumn trip to Peru. It exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated your suggestions for additional activities, the detailed travel plan, and your prompt responses to our pre-departure inquiries.

Our tour of this fascinating country was enhanced by glorious weather, wonderful accommodations, efficient logistics, knowledgeable guides, and accommodating hotel staff wherever we went. We employed almost every possible mode of transportation - plane, boat, train, bus, taxi, and private car, and all were quite comfortable. We were never in doubt about getting to our next destination.

Local Peru For Less representatives, guides, and drivers were prompt, informative, and friendly as they reconfirmed travel details at each stop on our journey. There was never any confusion about who was to greet us and where we were going when we arrived at the airports or bus stations. A Peru For Less representative provided us with a review of what we would be doing and where and when we would be met by our tour guides. We never felt we were on our own in a strange city or country. As a result, the trip was a delight, enabling us to focus on our sightseeing, with transportation and lodging the least of our concerns.

Our days were busy but never hectic. We had sufficient free time to explore on our own and sleep. The quiet hotel rooms were especially appreciated, as well as the dark skies in remote areas. Mark, an astronomy enthusiast, was able to photograph a large Magellanic cloud (attached) during our stay in the Colca Valley and was thrilled.

Besides Machu Picchu, highlights included the Cruz del Condor, Uros Islands, Islas Ballestas, and our climb to the top of Huayna Picchu. During our Lima city tour, an unexpected religious procession celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Mercy was a special moment and included an appearance by the Archbishop of Lima. We were also impressed by the large Sunday parade in Cusco honoring international tourism month that encapsulated numerous aspects of Peruvian culture and national pride.

Given the attention to detail we received from Peru For Less, it was a trip we will fondly remember and we look forward to sharing our experiences with family and friends.

Dear Peru For Less,

I recently returned from a bucket-list trip to Peru with your company. My brother, cousin, and best friend all did the Inca Trail for my 40th birthday. I had expressed the desire to reach the Sun Gate the morning of my birthday and was told that the company couldn't guarantee this but would try its best. Aleks, our travel advisor found a way to make it happen. We had an amazing trip! The guides were entertaining and extremely informative. The hotels were clean, safe, and centrally located. We were VERY happy with the services that you provided and your quick and helpful responses to our queries.

The guides, greeters, and drivers were very good and helped us with some small problems that arose every now and then. We felt very calm about the logistics in South America, because we saw right away how smoothly things ran, in both Peru and Chile.

We loved the places we visited and had a very interesting trip filled with many fun and interesting experiences. We especially remember Machu Picchu, Refugio Amazonas, Punta Arenas, Torres del Paine, O'Higgins Park, and the Atacama Desert - but all was really nice and we enjoyed seeing all of the beauty, different sceneries, cultures/traditions, and meeting the very, very friendly people of Peru and Chile.
