Day 1 : Full-day Sacred Valley Horseback Riding
- Your guide will meet you at your Cusco hotel for the drive to the Pachar’s bridge, where the horses are waiting. You’ll first cross the Urubamba River and start the climb to the altiplano of the Andes. This climb takes about 2 hours. Once you reach the town, you will be met by the sight of the snow-capped mountains of Chicon, Veronica, and Salkantay.
- After enjoying a box lunch in Maras, a typical Andean village that boasts a beautiful 400-year-old colonial church, you’ll continue your ride to Moray where you’ll stop to admire the beautiful agricultural terraces. You will then visit the Maras salt mines before meeting your transfer back to Cusco.
