A horse back ride from Cuzco to the ruins of Tipon allows you to enter into the area's beauty in a unique manner. Consisting of an impressive temple complex and irrigation system, Tipon is further associated with many agricultural discoveries made by the Inca.

Itinerary and Prices

Day 1:

At approximately 9am you will be met at your comfortable Cuzco hotel and travel by private bus to Huasao (40 minutes approx.). Upon your arrival, you will be given ample time to become acquainted with your horse before the ride begins. A pleasant journey follows, leading you into the mellow hills near Huasao. Arriving at Tipon, you will enjoy a picnic lunch amongst the ruins and appreciate the inspiring surroundings. In the early afternoon you will descend from the ruins to the town of Oropesa where your bus awaits to take you back to Cuzco (4 pm arrival approx).

2nd day on the trail
