The Hostal Casona Solar is located just 3 blocks from the heart of Arequipa, Plaza de Armas, and within a 300-year old colonial building with gray-stoned sillar walls that make it look more like a castle than a hotel. The building was declared a National Monument by UNESCO in 1980 and it’s a typical example of architecture from the 18th century.
