The Casona Yucay occupies a lovely historic Colonial house that was recently converted into a hotel and named after its most famous guest - Simon Bolivar (Peru's liberator). Calle Ventiderio 248 Ollantaytambo

Named after the willow tree standing by its front door, the Hotel Sauce is planted on the hillside of the Sacred Valley. With magnificent vaulted ceilings, the rooms are very clean and nicely equipped; half offer a marvelous view of the Ollantaytambo ruins. The cozy lobby features a fireplace and the small restaurant provides terrific fare.

Located near the Ollantaytambo train station, this B&B is the ideal place to rest before starting the Inca Trail or visiting the magnificent archaeological site of Machu Picchu.  This is a historical hotel, which opened in 1923 with the arrival of the train to town, was re-opened in 1976, making it the oldest accommodation in Ollantaytambo, a town that hosts an impressing Inca fortresses and which is ideal for horse-riding, cycling, rafting and trekking.

Located between Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu, the campsite is 2800m above sea level and close to the Vilcanota River. From here you can see the archeological site of Ollantaytambo and walk about 30 minutes to get there. The following day, you can walk to the train station, only 15 minutes away, to take the train to Machu Picchu.
Campsite is accessible by road, by rafting on the river Vilcanota or by trekking.
