Gavin,
Our encounter with the Peru For Less was excellent from the very beginning. Your staff is so knowledgeable; the education and backgrounds of our guides was fantastic. We were very happy with everything!
Best regards,Below you will find some of the feedback we have received from recent travelers. We have the best testimonials in the market and we can provide the contact info of any client listed on our testimonials page.
Hi Kelly,

Thank you for your email, we had a lovely time in Peru and we appreciate the service we were given from Peru For Less and especially yourself, who answered all our questions and worries before our trip.
I will recommend Peru for Less to anyone in England who I hear may want to travel to Peru. In fact, my husband is the editor of a small local magazine, and will put your website in there for others in Kent to see, as the value for money is far better than anything we could find in the UK.
Thank you, Kelly, all in all a very enjoyable trip.
Best Wishes,
Allison ParkinsonHi Kelly,

In a word, the trip was fantastic. Everything was interesting and overall, we would recommend it to anyone. I enjoyed Machu Picchu the most, while Ann's favourite was the jungle. Lake Titikaka was interesting, Taquille Island being by far the best part of that segment. Our guide did a wonderful job describing the Taquille culture during a great lunch high atop a hill, under a canopy, overlooking the lake, and showing us some of the peoples' customs.
Machu Picchu was awe inspiring, and I wish we had more time there. Cusco was interesting, being built on the Inca plan, narrow streets, etc. Good food, San Blas was charming, and Marlene, our guide, was terrific. I missed the Sacred Valley (altitude and caught a bug) but Ann and Christina enjoyed it.
The train to Puno was amazing, although it was a long day. I'd do that again, nonetheless.
Refugio worked out very well, especially with our guide Aldo. Knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and our group luckily gelled to add a lot to that segment. Great food even if not too fancy. Saw a lot of interesting stuff like the canopy, Brazil nut trees, the farm across the river, some wildlife, and the vegetation. Even if some animals did not show up, or were not close up, it was unique and one of the best parts of the trip.
Lima was enjoyable, specifically Miraflores, San Isidro, and Barranco. Great food, especially Astride & Gaston which was superb.
Hotels were fine, as advertised, not luxurious but very adequate, and the Casa Andina staff were friendly and helpful. Aguas Calientes hotel (Machu Pichu Inn?) was one of the best.
As far as PFL is concerned, high marks. People were there when they were supposed to be and some were exceptional (Caitlin in Cuzco). We were always looked after, so great job. From start to finish, you did a good job so I would recommend your company to anyone. You personally responded very well to the one small glitch, so thank you for that.
Thanks for organizing things so well.

John KubackiHi Jennifer,

Our trip was everything we wanted and much more. It was amazing and we wish we would have had more time to spend in Peru. The hike was beyond anything we had imagined. Everyone was so professional and welcoming and friendly and helpful. We felt very safe and we really appreciated all your "hand-holding"... I know that we emailed often to ask every imaginable question and you always got right back to us.
We HIGHLY recommend Peru For Less to plan an amazing Peru experience. From beginning to end, our travel advisor was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our questions were answered right away. Our itinerary was very well organized, detailed, and explained to us. When we were to be met by a driver and/or tour guide, they were always on time and very professional and knowledgeable. We received extremely personal attention and always had a way to contact someone in case of a problem or question. We even received reminder messages for times of tours and flights.
The trek to Machu Picchu was better than we ever imagined. It was well organized and our guides were wonderful. I have never eaten so well/healthy on a vacation, either. I implore you to highly consider planning your trip with this company!
Fondly,
Leslee and Shane KellyNicola,

We had such a wonderful time!!! We really appreciated your willingness to work with us (making sure we had a guide to meet us at Machu Picchu after we changed our train tickets, giving us the dinner/show when you could have very well kept that extra money in our account, making sure that we felt comfortable with everything). We were extremely happy with the all of the hotels we stayed at and felt safe. Being able to see Peru and not have to worry about the little details was a dream... thank you so much for everything. I'll make sure to let everyone know how happy we were with Peru For Less :)
Also, please tell Emily thank you, too. You both were so great!!!
The Brus FamilyHi Rylee,

I am sorry it took so long to respond, but we have been very busy getting our heads out of the clouds and returning to our lives. We wanted to let you know that "Peru for Less" was absolutely wonderful. We were very well taken care of by our Travel Guides, I was impressed with their knowledge and pride in their country. We saw so many things that are so beautiful, that makes their description impossible. We do appreciate that you did such a good job setting up all the places that we wanted to see in our 11 day vacation, and wanted you to know that if there was a minor problem with time or plans, it was immediately fixed. We were taken care of by people that enjoyed what they were doing, and they made us feel special. I know that you asked for a photo, well I am going to send a few (out of 992) that my show how much we ejnoyed the trip. You will notice the large smiles!!
Thanks, Rylee!!! Would I recommend you--Without reservation!
Tom and Rhonda LeGrandKelly:

Let me start by saying "I wish we were still in Peru!"
I gave you the challenge of coordinating an itinerary with a limited amount of time and the entire trip went without incident. Every flight, every transfer, every taxi, bus and tour was on time and as planned. Every contact we made from the Hotel Staff to the Tour guides was pleasant, helpful and all aimed to please. Special kudos to Allison who answered my calls after-hours and always greeted us with a bright smile. Logistically the trip was flawless....and that's hard to do.
The experience was "once in a lifetime" but I hope to do it again, soon. And, we'll be booking through you.
Cusco was a wonderful town with plenty to do...we had to force ourselves to go back to the Hotel and sleep in preparation for the following day. We could have stayed up late every night.
Aquas Calientes was a pleasant surprise. I didn't expect that kind of charm from a town only accessible by train...wow. And the hot bathes were a welcome treat after the hike.
The 2-day Inca Trail was perfect! We were able to experience the Train and the Hike in our allotted time without feeling "short-changed". I am not skilled enough to put into words an adequate description of Machu Picchu. It must be seen and experienced in person.
Not sure if this was your intent but the physical ability of our group was very well matched. I don't know if the experience would be the same if I had to wait for a slower hiker of be the one waited on. I don't remember if you asked an ability question but your pairing of the group was perfect. Edwin, our guide, was a good balance of knowledge, personality and the ability to gauge our interest for a lecture or if we should move-on.
Thanks for making this a memory of a life-time. Cheers,
Jesse VirayHi Kelly,

Overall the trip went very well and I was met by PFL personnel promptly at every location. This made it easy especially in remote locations. I would recommend PFL to anyone without hesitation.
First of all, I really appreciated very prompt efforts by Caitlyn and Emily from your office in Cusco, who looked after our every need.
I enjoyed Cusco. The guide for the Sacred Valley tour was exceptional. Also, there were others from PFL that I met on several tours and that made the tours very enjoyable with sharing of travel stories, etc. The tour of the Cathedral, the Inca ruins, etc, around Cusco was good as well, and the guide gave us enough time to explore on our own and for photos.
The dinner and show at the Tunupa Restaurant was very enjoyable. The buffet was excellent and service was courteous. I got a front table which was very nice.
Machu Picchu was simply an exceptional experience and guide there (Jim) was quite good. I had a nice day with good, sunny weather (May 21). I had a super relaxing next day in Agues Calientes. The El MAPI hotel was superb including the staff and I had a lovely lunch by the river. They recommended the Indie Feliz restaurant where I had a terrific dinner at an excellent price.
For those who want to minimize the hardship, I would recommend to wait until the train track from Cusco to Agues Calientes is completely rebuilt. The bus ride was very uncomfortable with little room for even the small luggage we took. The train service was excellent.
All in all a very satisfying experience with Peru-for-Less.

Gaurang MasterHi Sebastian,

We returned from Peru last week, and just wanted to let you know that everything went incredibly smoothly and we loved every day we were there! Thank you so much for the follow up prior to our trip - particularly with the updates regarding the uncertainties for travel to Machu Picchu. The short Inca Trail was fantastic, the weather cooperated beautifully, and it seemed to us that the tourist crowd was smaller due to the limited train service, which made visiting M.P. even more wonderful.
All aspects of our trip were on time, and completely without hassle. The arrangements for ground transport and local tours enabled us to see a lot in the short two weeks we were there, and without exception our local guides and representatives were most helpful and professional. Most especially, I'd like to mention Wayki Trek operators in Cusco, Allison and Miguel (Peru for Less representatives in Cusco and Lima), and Luis and the staff at Posadas Amazonas in Puerto Maldonado, who all helped to make our trip delightful, interesting, and completely stress-free.
We so enjoyed the people we met in Peru, the food, the incredible sights, and many Pisco Sours. We will definitely return soon, and look forward to visiting other regions of Peru on our next trip. We would like to thank you again for all your assistance and attention to the details, and we will recommend Peru for Less without hesitation to any of our friends planning travel to Peru.
Best Regards,
Alex & Suzanne RushHi Rylee,

What a Grand Adventure we had. And it started with the planning. I gave you a list of too many places to visit and you gave me a sample of possible itineraries that would work within the time we had to spend. Via email we worked together to create a custom vacation specific to my particular requests.
Throughout the trip we were picked up punctually and where applicable the driver had our flight boarding passes ready and we reached the airports with a comfortable margin of time to comply with air regulations.
All of our tour guides were so knowledgeable and passionate about their particular geographic area. They didn't just spout off facts by rote but spoke with drama and flair. Our guides were: Mariluz in the Colca Canyon area; Pumasanco in the Cusco area; another Mariluz in the Sacred Valley of the Incas; Fabricio in Machu Pichu; Johan in Infierno, Puerto Maldonado (he kept us safe from wasps and other dangers!).
Caitlin in Cusco was so conscientious and a treat to talk to. And, of course, I called mid-trip asking for 2 more days in Miraflores and you did it in a flash.
In other words, thank you for putting together a fantastic and memorable trip. Let me know if you need anything else regarding the testimonial.
Cheers,
Cindy and Graham BrownRylee,

This was my first time travelling with Peru for less. I found them on the internet so there is always a little trepidation as to what you are going to get. Rylee did a great job individualizing my vacation and offering suggestions before departure. When I got to Peru I found a very professional organization. All the connections worked smoothly and the drivers and guides were very helpful. The hotels we were booked into were excellent. My daughter and I took the 4 day Inca Trail and the guides and porters seemed to take a real pride in their jobs and making the non fit, non campers in our group comfortable.
There was a slight problem at the end with some luggage (not Peru For Less' fault) but they helped to resolve the issue successfully.
I am already starting to think about my summer trip to South America and Peru For Less will be the first company I contact.
