Hi Kate,
We could not have had a better experience than the one we enjoyed in Peru!
Your planning was excellent. Our movements between sites were seamless. The guides and the drivers were professional, prompt and courteous. Nobody dropped the ball anywhere. It added to the trip that we had our own guides and private tours. Every hotel was a wonderful surprise - clean, modern, and comfortable. Every staff member of every hotel took wonderful care of us. There was nothing for us to do but enjoy every minute of every day.
This was our golden wedding anniversary gift to each other, and it was simply perfect. Machu Picchu was, of course, the highlight of our trip, and worth every effort of getting there. I had wanted to stand on that mountain since I was in junior high school, and I am 70 years old this year. So, it was literally a dream come true for me. The other days spent touring Cusco and Lima were just frosting on our cake.
Neither of us knew how much there is to learn of Peruvian and Inca history. The guides gave us so much information, and with such pride in their places. The food was another surprise. I had thought I might take peanut butter with me, just in case the food was awful. I soon learned that peanut butter would have been just so much dead weight. Everything served to us was delicious, and we learned about quinoa. My husband ate a guinea pig in the Sacred Valley and alpaca at one hotel.
Thank you so much for the planning. We will never forget it. We would certainly recommend Peru For Less to anyone who might be planning a trip to Peru.
Sincerely,
Del & Barbara (Arizona, USA)

Hi Kelly,
We knew we would have an unforgettable time at Peru, but I shall say this country truly surprised me. There are so many things to see and with Peru For Less we saved a lot of trouble along the way.
We did not spend much time in Lima, but the start with Arequipa to Colca Canyon to Puno was amazing. We liked the landscape, the lovely alpacas, and the simple people. We met with a boy with a baby alpaca along the way. We must say the tour guide we had for this part was amazing - very engaging and knowledgeable.
Cusco is a blessed city. We tried the Inka Spa and visited every place of interest. Culturally overwhelming.
The tour to Machu Picchu did not start well; we were stuck in the train because of the landslide for a couple of hours, but it did not reduce any of the beauty and sacredness we saw in this valley. Walking on the ruins, listening to the ancient stories, and looking at the beautiful wonders, we felt lucky that we could make it.
Last but not least, I want to thank you personally for all the assistance along the way. I cannot imagine that you have been so patient with my detailed requests and questions (we had 50+ emails back and forth). After the trip, I felt even more confident to say we made the right choice with you. Hope one day you could bring the service worldwide to benefit more travelers along the road.
Sincerely,
Stella (Pennsylvania, USA)

Dear Silvana,
What a fantastic and unforgettable trip!
We organized our trip tp Peru on the internet with Peru For Less. We chose their Heart of the Inca package and customized it with the help of our travel advisor Silvana. Everything worked out wonderfully. The transfers were all on time and the hotels were excellent. Our guides surprised us with their deep knowledge of Peruvian culture and history. None of our questions remained unanswered.
Thank you so much and we will recommend Peru For Less to our friends in Switzerland.

Hi Silvana,
We are thrilled with our choice of Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica and would highly recommend it to your clients (take the 3 night/4 day version in order to experience as much as possible).
Staff, food services, tours, guides, and accommodation were outstanding, making this part of our Peruvian trip a terrific experience.

Hi Dana,
I had a terrific time in Peru traveling with Peru For Less. The hotels that I was booked in were wonderful - clean, friendly, and had great breakfasts. The tours in Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Pisco, and Machu Picchu rarely had more than 5 people in the group and it was usually 4.
The guides were wonderful - they had a thorough knowledge of the areas of which they were speaking and gave us so much interesting history about the particular area that was clear and understandable.
Everything that Peru For Less did was outstanding and I would certainly consider travelling with your company again.
All my best,

Dear Kelly,
Every time we talk to friends about our trip to Peru and the amazing time we had there, we credit Peru For Less. Having Kelly set up and execute our entire itinerary allowed us to have a hassle-free, worry-free once-in-a-lifetime trip! She was easy to work with, setting up extra days here and there, answering our questions and providing information about must-see places in Peru.
Of course Machu Picchu was the ultimate destination for us and it worked out perfectly that this was our last stop. Every stop we made, every ruin we visited just got better and better culminating in extremely high expectations for Machu Picchu. I was actually afraid I'd be disappointed in Machu Picchu because the other ruins we visited were so spectacular! It didn't disappoint, no way! It took our breath away.
I would have liked to spend more time in the Pisac market; one hour was just not enough as agreed by the other 6 people who were with us. That's another thing: all the tours we went on had fewer than 6 people, allowing for quality time with each of our guides. THEY were also amazing, each and everyone speaking flawless English, full of knowledge and genuinely enjoying their jobs.
I highly recommend Peru For Less.

Hey Aleks,
First of all, I had a great trip, rainy season or not. Everything that was scheduled worked like a charm and I was greeted, escorted or transferred with great people making sure I got where I needed to be. On one of the tours a couple of your Peru For Less people were along and we had great conversations.
The hotel Casa San Blas Boutique was a surprise. Nice little place. Imagine my surprise when I was given a hot water bottle every night to warm my bed, along with a couple of chocolates. A most enjoyable stay. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.
I really appreciate what you did, all your work, and all the work of your tour guides. I definitely got an education about South America while I was there.
With much appreciation,

Hi Kelly,
Our trip was amazing! I truly loved everything about Peru. Peru For Less made the trip stress-free and allowed us to make the best of our short time there. The hotels you booked for us were perfect. They were nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location of both hotels was great.
All of our tours were wonderful as well. I found all of the guides to be very informed, friendly, and helpful. The weather was great except for a bit of rain during our Inca trek and Machu Picchu day but that was expected during this time of year.
Overall our experience in Peru was incredible and I want to thank you and the other employees of Peru For Less for making our trip run so smoothly. Everyone was so well organized and helpful that I didn't need to worry about anything during the trip which allowed for a relaxing vacation.
Thank you,
Katie (Arizona, USA)

My dear Dana,
Quodos to you for keeping on top of our file from beginning to end and in a most professional manner.
The computerized overview of our trip with all pertinent info that Peru For Less has adopted is an excellent tool. The departure times, the pick-up company name, the hotel info, the contact person and phone number in case of problem, etc. All is clearly stated and religiously adhered to.
The pickups were always on time and the guides were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable - Maria Louisa and Lois in particular come to mind.
The tourist bus ride from Puno was excellent. Good guide, great lunch, very comfy trip, and interesting stops.
All and all we would recommend our friends to you Dana and to your company Peru For Less.
Wishing you the very best,

Hi Kelly,
Our trip was fantastic. Overall, our experience visiting all the places in the two countries was well worth the cost, both in terms of money and time taken to get there. In fact, this was the most expensive holiday we have ever had, and given that we travel/vacation three or four times a year in different parts of the world, this is saying something! But, well worth it. South America, for a lot of us in my part of the world, is one of those continents we probably ever get to once in a lifetime.
So, what did we enjoy the most out of everything we did? Without a doubt, we enjoyed the following, although not necessarily in order:
1. The tango dinner and show in Buenos Aires. We have seen all kinds of cultural stuff in different countries, including the flamenco in Spain, but the tango beats them all. The food was great, and the show was even better.
2. The glacier trekking in El Calafate. Awesome, awesome. We would not have done ourselves justice if we hadn't gone, as we wouldn't have experienced it anywhere or any other time.
3. Machu Picchu. Of course. It was definitely another of those "Oh-My-God" moments. I cannot say much more about the place, except I sat and wondered how on earth the Incas ever did this...and wondered how the world would have been different if such a society had continued to flourish.
4. The Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu. Wonderful luxury, marvelous food, and great people that we met on board.
5. El Calafate overall was lovely. If anything, I would suggest that for your future travelers, they should go to Ushuaia first and then culminate their travel in El Calafate.
I have since we came back, given your agency website/contact to two other friends who are now keen to make their way to South America. I am overall really pleased with the service you have provided for my family and I and do appreciate all the communication we have had.
Again, thank you for making our Argentina and Peru holiday a wonderful experience.
