Hi Kristina,

Our trip was wonderful! Initially I had some doubts about arranging the trip through a tour company as I was afraid it would be too rigidly structured and that we would simply be packed onto a bus with 50 other foreigners and shipped from one sight to another with a limited time to explore. My doubts were unfounded - the experience we had was amazing!

Caitlyn's friendly face was a sight for travel-weary eyes when we arrived in Cusco. She was punctual, informed and briefed us on our itinerary thoroughly, answering all of our questions and giving us some great tips on places to eat and things to see. Our hotel in Cusco, Casa Andina San Blas was GREAT! The accommodations were central, comfortable and left little for want. The staff there was fantastic as well: they spoke English but encouraged my rusty Spanish with patience and good humor.

The trip to Aguas Calientes went smoothly and we enjoyed the train ride immensely! Our accommodations at Inti Inn were very comfortable and the staff there was delightful as well. Our guide for Macchu Picchu, Fabricio, was very well-informed, kept a great pace, and communicated an exciting passion for the site.

Our travel to Puerto Maldonado and the Selva beyond was also great! The boat ride to Refugio Amazonas was such an exciting way to enter the jungle. Refugio Amazonas was like an oasis in the jungle, and when we arrived we were greeted by friendly smiles, icy-cold towels for our faces and sweet lemonade. The accommodations were tranquil and our jungle itinerary was packed with adventure. Our guide, Johan, was knowledgeable and tireless. He had a wonderful sense of people and made everyone feel included. The food at Refugio was also delicious, produced largely from the local geography.

Our accommodations in Lima at Hotel Allpa were stellar. There was some sort of mix up and we ended up with a lovely suite! What a happy error and great way to be pampered at the end of our stay.

All in all, our trip to Peru was unmarred by any travel mishaps and we were able to really enjoy ourselves without worries about any of the arrangements thanks to the folks at Peru For Less. I would strongly recommend Peru For Less to anyone planning to travel to Latin America. They are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Now I only wish there was a European counterpart!

You beat me to the punch as I was planning to send you an email to thank you so much for all your help! Everything about the trip you organized went so well and was designed as if you knew us! After our previous unsuccessful attempts to organize the trip with other agencies we were understandably anxious and distrustful about what we would encounter when we got to Peru.

We needn't have worried because it was all handled perfectly. At every stop our guide or transport was waiting for us and told us what to expect. They were all courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The hotels were perfect for our tastes. Our bus seats were a pleasant surprise as we hadn't recalled asking for the VIP seats that allowed us to stretch out more comfortably on the overnight ride (we may have talked about this but I don't recall doing so) and our guide helped us change our time of departure on the return to Lima which was very helpful. Everything went like clockwork and we are so grateful. You turned our experience from dread to delight! Thank you for everything!

PS: We also appreciate the help in providing a testimonial which we most certainly will do. You've earned it! And when we ever travel to Peru or any other country in South America, you'll be the first number we'll call.

Dear Peru For Less,

I first heard about Peru for Less from my dentist. I immediately went online to see if I could find any bad reviews of Peru for Less. After doing intense internet research on non-Peru for Less affiliated sites, I came back empty.

After sending an inquiry email, I got an almost immediate response back from Jennifer. I couldn't believe how quickly she responded to all my emails (~30) including the ones I sent on the weekend. It really helped to know that if I had any questions or concerns I could easily ask and know I would get a response back. Peru for Less made arrangements for our 15 day trip including 5 plane flights and 5 tours. Everything went as planned. If it was on our itinerary, it happened.

We traveled with the hopes of seeing lots of different species and boy did we. We took over 3,000 pictures and enjoyed every moment of our trip. The highlight of our trip was definitely the Galapagos. We loved all the snorkeling and hiking.

Dear Riva,

Everything went just perfect and I had a really wonderful time. I learned so many things and I couldn't get enough of walking around in Cusco and also at Machu Picchu. On my free day at Machu Picchu, I went to the butterfly garden which is a lovely place with a very nice guide but which is still recovering from the floods earlier this year, and to the botanical garden. The guide there was very sweet and knew two types of orchids: "orchids no flower" and "orchid flower". He knew actually much more than as I found out - so it's worth asking some questions. The park with the water fall and river at the end of the hike was really nice and peaceful and just what I needed to have some quite time in Nature. The museum is certainly worth a visit and the small café at the bridge is a nice place to have a little rest and a really strong coffee.

The hotels were both very nice, especially the one is Cusco, and the people were all so very friendly and kind. The train ride was great too, with nice music and good food.

We had the most memorable and awesome experience in Peru. Thanks to your impeccable arrangement, we enjoyed the whole trip without a hitch. We indeed had a wonderful time. Everything went according to plan without a hitch. The PFL staff was on hand every step of the way with transportation and guidance. They were always on time and very courteous. PFL services are indeed most impressive.

Trip to Nazca was long but buses were very comfortable. Nazca lines flight was impressive and accommodation was great. We very much enjoyed Cusco and Machu Picchu. The overnight stay at Machu Picchu was worth the cost.

Galapagos trip also went without any problem. Very efficient and courteous staff. We would like to thank you for your efforts.

We are back! I am sorry that I couldn't respond earlier but our 20-day Peru holiday was an epic adventure of a lifetime and it has taken this long for us to recover and resume our normal lives.

Our trip was fantastic and we found Peru to be an absolutely amazing country of so much natural beauty. I have organised many excursions for our group of intrepid travellers for many years and I must say that Peru For Less is one of the best and most professional companies I have dealt with. Thank you for an excellently organized trip to Peru and Bolivia. The Ceiba Treetops Expolorama Lodge was a very good and comfortable base to explore the Amazon and a couple of her near-by tributaries.

All in all, the itinerary was followed closely and punctually and all local tour guides were very professional and informative.

We had such a magical experience!!!

We are so impressed with the service that we received during our recent trip to Peru. We were greeted at each location by one of your representatives who were always very informative about our itinerary and made great recommendations.

Our tours were fantastic! We loved our guides who all seemed to have a very spiritual connection to "Pachamama" and shared with us much of the history and legends at each location.

The white water rafting and the horseback ride to Moras and Moray were awesome. We were especially impressed with the wonderful local-style meals that were included in each of those tours. Lunching with our guides and drivers gave us an opportunity to learn more about how the local people live, their customs and beliefs. We also had some "chicha" which was quite tasty.

The train ride to Puno was a great experience. There was always something happening to keep you entertained. Plus, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Uros Islands and the Isle of Tequile.

What can I say about Machu Picchu ... WOW. Pictures cannot capture the beauty and energy of Machu Picchu. We had planned to hike Huayna Picchu on our second day; however, our guide suggested that we hike Mountania Machu Picchu instead. We are so glad that we did. The hike was a very challenging and extremely rewarding experience. The views were spectacular.
