The trip to Peru was amazing.  I feel that Peru for Less took really good care of us.  Allison and Fabricio were great!  I fell in love with Cuzco.  The staff at the Arqueologo Hotel made me feel very much at home and they even taught me some Spanish :-) I really have to say that the staff at the Rupa Wasi hotel were also very kind and helpful even though their hotel was not our first choice.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Peru for Less to friends.

Lima, Cuzco and Machu Picchu

Dear Kristina,

I apologise for not having got back to you until now. Although I've been back now for almost a month, the memories nevertheless remain as fresh as if it were yesterday and I had a marvellous time, enamoured of Peru.

As for your outfit, I was delighted with the service you provide. I thought it was good value for money and find it difficult to fault. I obviously compared notes with other travellers on the same route and concluded that I had been well served.

In general I particularly appreciated the fact that I could be sure that there was somebody in your office I could contact if need be at any time (which I did, managing thus painlessly to upgrade my hotels in mid-stream) and the fact that without fail somebody, usually charming, would be wherever it was, to pick me up; apart from anything else, this saved me a lot of time and hassle.

All the guides in situ and on the excursion buses were splendid.

The Nazca flight was certainly a highlight, although I personally could have done without the Ica stop - but tastes differ and the distances are huge, so one needs stop somewhere, I suppose.

El Castillo in Arequipa is a real jewel and deserves to be known more.

Thank you, you seem to be doing a grand job and I would certainly recommend others to use you.

I've asked the family to send me their comments so I can forward a "family" testimonial to you.  In the meantime, please know that we had a fantastic time.  Peru is beautiful and the people are friendly and helpful.  Your staff was extraordinary.  The transfers went smoothly and without a problem.  It was great to be met at every airport and hotel.  The accommodations were terrific; the Sanctuary Hotel is much closer to Machu Picchu than I thought; just a few feet away from the entrance. Machu Picchu was better than I expected; much larger and impressive.  One highlight was the guides: Alison was great, Blas was a kick (with his political viewpoint) and Yuri (at Rainforest Expeditions) was incredible.

In all, your team did an outstanding job!!

I'm tardy in my response but here are a few thoughts:

Cusco:

Tours: Juan Carlos was great. He provided a different take on the Inca history and it was very interesting. My wife and I are Catholic so some things he said we initially were taken aback but every story has two sides and as we thought about it we were grateful for his take.

Aguas Calientes and Macchu Pichu:

Wow. Sumaq was incredible. We paid quite a bit but it was incredible; one of the best hotels on the entire trip. Thank you for a great recommendation.

Tours: I'm forgetting our guides name but he was terrific; very energetic and very entertaining. Machu Picchu exceeded every one of our expectations. Unbelievable.

Puerto Maldonado:

Hotel: Inkaterra was great; remote, relaxing, and great service. I have already told friends and family this is a "must" on their next vacation.

Peru for Less was there every step of the way during our trip. From arranging lodging, tours, and transportation they managed to remove all of the stresses of a vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend PFL to friends or family.

Hi Juan Pablo,

I am sorry for the delay in my reply.  I definitely had some amazing experiences that I will always treasure.  The sites I saw were very beautiful.  One of the great things about the itinerary was that I was able to get ready for the Salkanty Trail by hiking in the Amazon (although the hikes were not especially strenuous, it was still good to get that exercise) and spending a few days in Cuzco to get used to the altitude.  Overall I had a fantastic time in Peru.

Dear Peru For Less

so relaxing yet we were always active doing activities and adventures. I loved walking through the mud! I also liked the fact there was no electricity or hot water, just us and nature. We saw many animal species.

We were both in awe of Machu Picchu. It was just mind blowing. Wandering around and exploring the Cathedrals and seeing all the gold and guilt was something else. The synergy of Inca and Spanish architecture is just a spectacular mix. Transfers were always on time and there was always someone there to greet us.

Thanks for your help in organising the trip, Chris. You explained everything so well and knew what we were after. I have already recommend Peru For Less to some of my friends. I would suggest they take a few extra days and get down to Lake Titikaka; we regret not getting down there.

Machu Picchu was amazing. All our connections went well and the tours were great. It was beautiful and a wonderful experience. It was great having everything taken care of & not having to worry about the little details. All we had to know is where to stand and what time and our representative/guide for the day would pick us up. Everyone was so helpful. Now that I am back in the States, I can report to you that virtually every aspect of the trip was flawless. Your staff was exceptional at every location. The hotels were excellent and the country was beautiful. I would particularly like to commend Allison in Cuzco and Jimmie, the leader of the Sacred Valley tour.

Machu Pichu was magnificent, as was the Amazon rain forest and Refugio Amazonas Lodge. Our guide there, Willian Duran, was excellent. Every phase of the trip was exceptional, due, in no small part to the proficiency of your people. They were all excellent! Their language skills were very good and their knowledge of the culture and history of the places we visited was also excellent. As a student of history, I was particularly impressed with the detailed analysis given by all of your guides of pre-columbian Peruvian history. I took over 300 photographs, as well as three hours of video which I will share with all of my friends. Peru for Less will receive my highest recommendation and I will actively encourage my friends and associates to patronize your organization. Also, as I am not finished yet with Latin America, I look forward to future relations with your organization. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
