Named after the Paracas sandstorm winds, this bay is protected within the Paracas National Reserve, which covers a total of 335,000 hectares on land and sea. Birders come from all over to see the a variety of species habituating in the bay including fowl such as pelicans and flamingos, and varied marine life, including whales, sea lions, condors, dolphins and an incredible number more. The bay is also an ideal location to escape from bustling city life and enjoy a day at the beach or have a picnic on the shores of this reserve that holds many natural wonders.
