Needed: Travel Advisor to work out of our Lima, Peru office

Latin America For Less, LLC, a US-incorporated company based in Lima, Peru, is looking for a Travel Advisor to work in our Lima office. We are looking for young professionals eager to develop within the tourism industry. Latin America For Less is the leading inbound travel agency for travelers from English-speaking countries, and we have the best testimonials in the industry. To maintain our high quality of standards, we require an ambitious, detailed-oriented individual who is passionate about travel.

Applicant Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree(or higher) from an English-speaking  university
• Passion for customer service and teamwork.
• Above average GPA; Liberal Arts/Humanities background preferred
• Native English speaker
• Intermediate Spanish communication skills (advanced level preferred).
• Proven interest and experience traveling in Latin America (knowledge of our destinations preferred)
• Strong work ethic and personal motivation
• Detailed oriented with excellent social, persuasion, and problem-solving skills
• MS Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• One year minimum commitment

Job Responsibilities

• Recommend, quote, and sell travel services
• Provide exceptional customer support to our clients; Client satisfaction is your #1 goal
• Communicate with clients before, during, and after their travel experience to ensure customer satisfaction
• Work a 40 hour work week (our sales office is open every day, travel advisor schedules are arranged to cover this)
• Be on call to help your clients in case of an emergency
• Help man phones and cover other teamwork duties

• Commission based salary (an average of US $20,000 - $50,000/year)
