Offer:

Successful American-owned tour operator based in Lima seeks a qualified, certified and experienced Cusco guide.  The guide must be available for any tours booked by passengers, whether in private or in group of the following Cusco region destinations: Maras /Moray, City Ruins and Archaeological tour, Sacred Valley, etc.  Please do not apply unless you have full Cusco guide qualifications to run tours in the region.

Position is salaried

Requirements:

• Has experience dealing with customer issues and specifically with North Americans and other Anglophones 
• Has flawless English
• Can connect and explain cultural comparisons of Incan/Peruvian culture with that of contemporary and past European, North American and possibly Asian cultures
• Is conversant in issues of post-modernism and can explain complex theories clearly to passengers
• Is knowledgeable of many conflicting theories of Incan history and does not focus on one theory and ignore all others
• Is flexible, entertaining, motivated, RELIABLE, and interested in extending their guiding experience with a stable and successful American/Peruvian company

A Cusco Tour Guide will be required to:

• Work a full time schedule consisting of a 7 day work week with select days off monthly
• Will be expected to work in conjunction with Cusco office to coordinate various tour services, including possible transfers
