Every month we look through our archives to find the best photos to share with you. We search high and low until we find the very best. This month’s photo was sitting right below our collective nose for the last few weeks, just waiting to be found.

Our photo of the month for October comes to us from, Katharine M., one of our many satisfied travelers. Earlier this year she ventured  to the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Cusco, Peru, where she hiked the Salkantay Trek. Her enthusiasm and respect for the majesty of the ancient valley are self-evident. Her charisma shines through in every frame. Her energy combined with the splendor of the Sacred Valley itself make this the Photo of the Month.

Of course, there are so many ways to capture the beautiful people and landscapes of Latin America that choosing the best of the month is never an easy endeavor. Therefore, we are bound to share some more of our favorites (below).
