Tango originated in the working class neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, Argentina during the early 1900s. Fueled by slow, dramatic tunes, the sultry steps of tango have become an intrinsic part of Buenos Aires culture. Even the manliest of men are captivated by this romantic and challenging dance. Travelers can buy tickets to a professional show or encounter a couple putting their dance moves to the test on a street corner.

Here’s a short video (3 minutes 15 seconds) of street tango in Buenos Aires.
