You’re exposed to a lot of new sights, sounds, culinary flavors, and sometimes even a new hobby while traveling in a different country. In 2009, photographer Alessandro Casagrande visited Reñaca Beach in Chile  (located slightly north of the town of Valparaiso) and chanced upon an unusual water activity during his coastal exploration.  Featured in this week’s photo, four kids test their balance and agility in large inflated balls while navigating the waters of a large pool. While any potential rules remain unclear, it sure looks like a fun way to spend some free time.

Visiting Valparaiso and its nearby beaches are a great way to escape the bustling streets of Santiago in Chile. For more information about planning your own Chilean tour, call and chat with an expert travel advisor at Latin America For Less.
