For this Photo of the Week we’re taking you to the desert of Ica in southern Peru. This full-throttle experience is one you won’t soon forget.  Strap yourself in and get ready for the most fun ride of your life. Sit aboard a dune buggy in the Peruvian desert and your driver will turn the desert hills into a natural roller coaster.

Climb to the top of a dune and quickly free fall for two hundred feet before making a hairpin turn up the next dune.Hang on tight and don’t eat a heavy lunch because this roller coaster isn’t for wimps. This is what sand dune adventures are all about.

Take a break from the roller coaster by strapping a sand board to your feet. If you’re adventurous you’ll ride standing up like a snowboard, but since these dunes are the size of mountains, we won’t tell anyone if you ride them on your belly like a sled. Either way, you’ll have a blast!

Once the evening sets in get ready for a party at the Huacachina Oasis. It’s the perfect way to unwind after a day of adventure.
