So how does a travel agency manage to gather thousands of clients who are willing to write long and kind letters to us?
The answer is simple: our clients have names and faces, we don’t treat them like numbers. They are the fruit of our labor and we love them. If you’d like to contact someone who has traveled with us in the past, inquire to your travel advisor or to firstname.lastname@example.org..
We want you to join them. We want you to be a happy traveler.

In Machu Picchu.. [our guide] Fabricio.. explained this sacred place in such a matter that we all felt a little bit of magic light up in us.
Thank you so much for your consistent hard work and dedication to fulfill our needs, even when the strike in Cusco did not allow us to go to Sacred Valley, you still managed to change the train tickets for us to come early from Machu Picchu which allowed us to have a tour of the Sacred Valley.
We liked everything: how the trip was scheduled (everything in timing manner), quality of hotels and especially the tour guides. In Lima Giovana Rojas our tour guide for that destination was remarkable, sweet and kind. She was able to answer all our questions and make sure we had fun at the same time!
In Cusco we had Maria as our tour guide and she too was amazing. There wasn’t a detail that she left out. She also made sure we were comfortable and happy with the stay. For the Sacred Valley, our tour guide made sure we had an easy time making it up the steps and helped us while describing the historic sight.
In Machu Picchu we had an especially nice gentleman named Fabricio. He explained this sacred place in such a matter that we all felt a little bit of magic light up in us. We also weren’t feeling well and he made sure to take it slow and helped us in any way we needed, we would especially like in this email to personally thank him for his kindness!
Our Nazca guide, Freddy was also very helpful, he warned us about the hot desert and made sure we had sunscreen and mosquito repellent so we wouldn’t be harmed. His information was also very insightful.
Lastly, in Puno for Lake Titicaca, we had George as our tour guide. He helped us with things he wasn’t obligated to do and that really made us feel better. He also did a wonderful job touring.
And all in all, it couldn’t have been a better trip.
THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH PERU FOR LESS!

Thank you.. We really felt at home in Peru - and we know how hard you all work so we can play!
I would say that it was a truly fantastic holiday and Peru is simply awesome (us Brits don’t often use that word but it is the only one that covers it!).
I have been recommending Peru for Less to colleagues and friends like a newly converted missionary!
What I think was so helpful is that all the drudge of organizing trips or pick-up’s and hotels etc was simply removed and we could maximize our time in Peru actually enjoying it. We were never let down and we always had a friendly face to meet us and sort us out.
What’s more you go out of your way to help – our baggage failed to show up in Lima and Miguel rang to make sure it was on the next flight. He also took us for our tour to the Gold Museum and we were there too early but this was great because we said we liked to bird-watch and he and the driver took us to places to do this until it was time to go to the museum – fantastic! Christina (the tornado!) in Cusco helped to sort out a visit to the Amano Museum in Lima on our last day because Juan Carlos (our guide for the Cusco City trip) had recommended it as an amazing place for historical textiles – a passion of mine – it was incredible and really rounded off our visit perfectly – so big thanks to both of them too!
Peru was a staggering list of highlights; Machu Picchu, condors, the Jungle, antiquity, the Ballestas Islands, the food, the people, textiles and the landscape and it is going to take some time to process and will never leave us and it was made all the better by the excellent organization of Peru for Less – we met other people with other companies not anywhere near as pleased and I think this comes down to you being on the ground and knowing your business inside out.
Hotels: We were especially pleased with the upgraded accommodation at Casa San Blas in Cusco – what a very special place and staff team! Casa Andina was excellent and it was nice to have that continuity of provision.
So once again thank you and all the teams; fixers, drivers, guides and hotels that looked after us so well. we really felt at home in Peru – and we know how hard you all work so we can play!

[We] just returned from the Galapagos and what a time we had. As usual, you delivered on everything you promised.
Just wanted to say THANKS to you for ANOTHER job well done. Last year you did a wonderful job on planning our Peru trip and this year it was the Galapagos. Both well done. Sudha, I and the kids just returned from the Galapagos and what a time we had. As usual, you delivered on everything you promised. The trip, one that we will fondly remember for years to come, was enjoyable as well as educational. And as always, it was a pleasure working with you during the planning.
As for our ship, The Legend, it’s a ship that you can feel very comfortable in recommending to your other clients. Yvette Hauser and her crew took great care of us, paying attention to every detail and ensuring we were comfortable and well attended to. As for our naturalist/guide, Jorge, we loved having him as our guide. In addition to showing us the sights, he also provided detailed explanations of why things are the way they are in the Galapagos. Given our science backgrounds and keen interest in this subject, we enjoyed and learned much from his talks. Between us, we now refer to him as “Professor Jorge”. 🙂 As for the ship itself, it has the amenities and comforts of a large ship and yet the number of passengers on it is small enough to make it a more “intimate” experience.
Well, that’s all for now. I just wanted to say THANKS to you for all that you do. Clearly, when we travel again to South America, you’ll be sure to hear from us.

We cannot thank you enough for our amazing adventure in Peru!! We have already recommended Peru For Less to everyone who has asked us about our vacation.
We selected Peru For Less because of your willingness to individualize our trip to Cuzco and Machu Picchu for a great price. Little did we realize just how wise a decision this would turn out to be. Our PFL schedule was based on the arrival of our cruise ship in Lima, but the cruise line cancelled the trip one week out. We quickly rebooked on another cruise originating in Lima and contacted Diego at PFL on Friday. By Monday afternoon, he and his associates had rebooked everything (hotel, tours, air, etc.) for a nominal change fee. As others have testified, words cannot adequately describe the superb attention and wonderful service we received by the PFL staff in Peru, they exceeded every expectation time and again!
Cuzco: Juan Carlos masterfully coordinated multiple transfers during our time in Cuzco and even met us on his morning off to ensure we hailed a “safe” taxi to return us to our hotel. Lalo expertly chauffeured us to/from the airport/train station at all hours of the day and night, shyly offering guided commentary in his limited English. And when there was a change in a tour meeting time, at least four staff members of the Hotel Arqueologo informed us of the new time.
Machu Picchu: Our guide Fabricio was a wonderfully kind and knowledgeable man who enabled us both to enjoy this magnificent wonder. He was so encouraging and thoughtful as he helped a 60 something woman trek though the ruins. Because he focused on her safety and enjoyment, it allowed her younger companion to thoroughly enjoy the ruins at her own pace. Just as amazing to us was the friendly welcome and assistance we received from the people of Peru who were not associated with PFL: the staff of the left luggage office at the Lima airport; the vendors in the craft markets; the proprietress of the corner store where we purchased bottled water; the waiters at the restaurants; and many, many others.
We cannot thank you enough for our amazing adventure in Peru!! We have already recommended Peru For Less to everyone who has asked us about our vacation. And we will be contacting you soon to arrange a tour in conjunction with a business trip to Chile.

Thank you for helping to make our trip so special. Your service would have to be the best value for money for such a quality service.
I can’t recommend you guys at Peru For Less highly enough. Ale coordinated most of our trip and after a few weeks of emails and suggestions from Ale and changed itineraries we finalized our plans. We had planned to do all the bookings ourselves to save money as we have done this in other continents such as Europe and Asia without problems. But, we soon learned that South America is very different and we worked out that it was going to be a lot less stressful and most probably cheaper to book it through your services. This certainly turned out to be true. In Chile & Bolivia we had made our own direct bookings. However, flights were cancelled, taxis were very expensive, and roads were blocked. This meant a lot of uncertainly and wasted time, with organizing new flights and rearranging hotel bookings etc. We had enough adventure by the time we arrived in Peru. It was such a relief knowing that everything had been organized by this time.
Our whole trip in Peru was fantastic. It is such a diverse place and it was hard to say what impressed us the most – it was a combination of the scenery, history, culture, and the food!! On the whole, we like to do our own thing so your service was ideal for us. With just over three week’s holiday, it was so good to arrive at a place knowing we would be picked up and taken to our hotel which was already booked. Not having to waste so much time finding suitable accommodation or haggle prices with the hotels or taxis, meant we had heaps of extra time to just relax and explore. We would be picked up from the bus or train and taken to our hotel where all our tickets were waiting for us. We had pre-arranged mini-tours and were then left to our own devices for a day or so, depending on where we were. The longer tours were very small in number which was great. You were not stuck with the same group for a traditional tour. If there were any changes to the itinerary we were called at the hotel or messages were left for us to advise of any time changes. At every place, we were allocated a person to whom we could call for any problems. Also, there was an emergency contact if something went astray.
Highlights of the Peru trip were of course Machu Picchu, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, and Paracas/Nazca. The whole trip was incredible, but probably our most special memory was staying in the Sacred Valley at Ollantaytambo for three days at Hotel Sauce. What a magical place this was. We hired a motorbike and toured the region also. Overall, it was hard to say what was the best and everywhere the guides were so good. Fabricio went out of his way to make our first view of Machu Picchu incredibly special. Your website is fantastic to go and check out the suggested itineraries and look at the hotels. We had a rough plan of what we wanted to do and this made it so much easier to add a day here or there, and work out suitable transport, which was all organized for us. Again, thank you for helping to make our trip so special. Your service would have to be the best value for money for such a quality service.

Peru For Less handled our problem well.. a true test for how well a travel agency can be the difference in a having a good or bad vacation.
Thank you for following up with us. My husband (John) and I had a wonderful time. Due to problems with our flights to Peru (which were arranged by us, not by Peru For Less), we did not get off to a great start. Half of our group (2 people) made it to Peru on schedule. The other two were 24 hours behind. Janjoris was very helpful in rescheduling our flight from Lima to Cusco, our hotels, and our train to Machu Picchu. Peru For Less handled our problem well and managed two separate itineraries for a few days until those of us arriving late caught up to the other two three days later. This was a true test for how well a travel agency can be the difference in a having a good or bad vacation. Without Peru For Less, this may have turned out to be a bad vacation for us!
The Peru for Less staff and other tour guides were great. Fabricio (Machu Picchu) was very knowledgeable and made the experience perfect. Juan Carlos was so nice and really took good care of us in Cusco. I have to say that Machu Picchu was the highlight of the trip. That is something we had wanted to see for awhile and it did not disappoint. We really enjoyed our entire stay in Peru. All the people we met were so nice and the food was fantastic. We already know we’d like to go back to Peru on a future vacation. We plan to recommend Peru For Less to our friends and family, as we had a wonderful experience.

Andrea was very organized and helpful.. She made sure we had everything: hotel vouchers, train tickets, Machu Picchu passes, coca tea, etc.
We had a terrific time in Peru. Peru For Less did a fabulous job with our transfers from the airport/train station and the hotels. The pick-ups were always on time and easy to find. Andrea, who met us at the Cuzco airport, was very organized and helpful with getting us oriented with the city. She made sure we had everything: hotel vouchers, train tickets, Machu Picchu passes, coca tea, etc. My husband loved Casa San Blas; it was very quaint.
Our Sacred Valley tour with Mariela was awesome. She was very attentive and personable. We loved her suggestion to visit the llama and alpaca museum/farm. Now I know the difference between a llama, alpaca, vicuna, and guanaco. She guided us through the Pisac market and church. We enjoyed our personalized tour of Ollantaytambo and our relaxing evening at Kyuchi Rumi.
When we arrived in Aguas Calientes, we were immediately greeted by the tour agent and the bellboy, just as Andrea had said. Staying at the Sanctuary Lodge was definitely a splurge, but the best decision we made. We left our bags with concierge and went straight to explore the Macchu Picchu site. We took fabulous pictures. We hiked all the way up to the Inca Bridge. We finally settled into our room at the Sanctuary Lodge, the view from the window was glorious.
The train ride from Aguas Calientes to Poroy was sprinkled with entertainment. The Peru Rail cabin hostess and host had a fashion show, modeling alpaca-wear. There was music and a mini-dance performance. Even though the train arrived in Poroy late, we were greeted by our transfer agent and made it back to Casa San Blas in Cuzco. Andrea met us the next morning and we were so glad she had printed our boarding passes for our return flight. What a huge relief! My only regret is that we didn’t spend one more day in Cuzco.
Thank you Peru For Less for a memorable vacation. We are very satisfied and would recommend your services to our friends and family. We have amazing pictures to show for it.

Silvana stepped in and saved our trip, and all we remember now is her kindness and the magical experience she managed to create for us.
We wanted to thank you for the experience of lifetime that we had in Peru. It was a great pleasure to work with you and we feel lucky meeting you in person. To those looking for a travel agency to book a trip to Latin America with, we would like to say: Look no more, and ask for Silvana!
From day one she was able to understand our requirements and offer the right package for us (we did a custom tour selecting dates and itinerary). All of the hotels that Silvana suggested were excellent. The logistics of the trip went without a glitch, and it was nice to ponder Incan history rather than trying to figure out where to get a taxi at 6 AM.
Silvana called and emailed us during the trip, making sure things were running smoothly. She answered all ad-hoc questions that we had. There are some risks even in a perfectly planned trip, and things that are out of anybody’s control. Silvana stepped in and saved our trip, and all we remember now is her kindness and the magical experience she managed to create for us.
We compared notes on other travel agencies with people that we met during our Peru vacation, and concluded that we had the best experience and the most transparency while working with our agency. We recommend Peru For Less and Silvana to everybody how is interested in traveling to Latin America.

The tours and guides were the absolute best… Our favorite guide was Rony in Cusco. He went above and beyond and is an asset to Peru For Less.
Thank you for all of your hard work and time organizing an incredible vacation to beautiful Peru. We are happy to recommend you and Peru For Less to anyone planning a trip to Peru. You were always very prompt in responding to my many emails and phone calls. We were leery about booking a trip that wasn’t your typical fully escorted tour with a set itinerary and one tour guide for the entire trip, as neither of us speak Spanish. You assured us that would not be an issue. You were right. We had NO problems.
We were always met by a PFL representative (even when our plane was delayed over an hour getting into Lima the 1st day) and at the end of each tour we were asked if we wanted to go back to the hotel or stay in the town square on our own. The guide always made sure that we knew how to get back to our hotel and where we could eat authentic Peruvian food. We had many wonderful meals while in Peru. The tours and guides were the absolute best. Being in such small tour groups (4-6 people or just the two of us) for most of our tours was an added bonus. Even the tours that were larger were still very personal. Our tour guides, Paul in Paracas, Olivia in Arequipa and Colca Canyon, and Fabricio at Machu Picchu were all very personable and knowledgeable. Our favorite guide was Rony in Cusco. His enthusiastic explanations were very informative and entertaining. He went above and beyond and is an asset to Peru For Less.
Being able to customize the Capture Historical Peru tour package, we were able to add an extra day at Machu Picchu and tour Lake Titicaca. Taquile Island is absolutely beautiful, but the climb up to the top of the island on rock steps is a little rough. Because we were a little slow, our whole time on the island was spent climbing the rock steps up one side of the island, a quick 5 minutes at the Town Square, ate a delicious grilled fish lunch, and then back down the other side of the island to meet the boat. I wish that we could have had a little more time to look around and enjoy the island and not felt so rushed, but still glad that we did it. On a positive note, all the steps helped to get us in shape for the rest of the trip!!
We enjoyed each place that we visited during our 13-day tour, but special highlights were the Uros Floating Islands on Lake Titicaca, Colca Canyon, and, of course, Machu Picchu.
All of the hotels were very nice and in excellent locations. We felt very safe walking to dinner at night. We really liked Casa San Blas Boutique Hotel in Cusco. It was located down an alley, so it was very quiet, but it was still close to shopping, restaurants, and a 10-minute walk to the Main Square. The real treat was the Double Tree Hilton Resort in Paracas. WOW!!! This resort is located on a private beach, has a beautiful pool, and incredible food. We really felt pampered staying there.
We are so glad that we got to meet you for dinner on our last night in Lima. The food at Brujas de Cachiche was delicious. Thank you again for helping to plan a trip of a lifetime.
Many, many regards,
Maggie and her Group (Rhodes, Greece)
We have an incredible amount of photographs.. to remind us of the trip of a lifetime. You spoiled us, as we will never find another place to compare with Peru.
I want to send heartfelt thanks from all of us for the exceptional job Peru For Less did on our trip. With such a long and complicated itinerary, we fully expected a few hitches, but no, it all went like clockwork. We were highly impressed with your country, your people, your scenery, and above all by the courteous and friendly people we met along the way. Special praise must go to the guides Javier in Arequipa and Juan Carlos on Cuzco. They were knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful. Each area we traveled to was so different from the one before and we are glad we made an effort to do it all. The planes, buses, and 1st Class train to Machu Picchu were surprisingly modern and safe, with good service. One of the highlights of the trip was on the 1st Class Train when the waiters put on a fashion show of Alpaca goods and did a Peruvian dance up and down the aisle! Between all of us, we have an incredible amount of photographs to look at now for the rest of our lives, to remind us of the trip of a lifetime. You spoiled us, as we will never find another place to compare with Peru. Thanks again. All of you at Peru For Less are doing a 5 star job, for 3 star rates.
