• Salary Range: ($30,000 - $60,000 USD) a year based on experience and qualifications.

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Assistant General Manager. This is a key role within our company, and we are seeking a talented individual who will contribute to our continued growth and success as a leader in the tourism industry.

We are one of the leading travel agencies in Peru with 20+ years of experience and a staff of 80+. We lead the pack when it comes to satisfied travelers and are keen to foster an environment of well being among our staff.

As Assistant GM, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee our operations, drive business growth, and ensure exceptional customer experience.

This role requires frequent collaboration and communication with our dedicated team across various departments in our Lima office branch. Daily, in-office interaction and intrapersonal skills are required in order to motivate and maintain efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Academic: Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university, preferable in an English speaking country; Master’s Degree is a plus
• Language: Advanced Professional Level English and Spanish
• Work Experience Preferred: 2+ years in the Tourism Industry, with relative Management, Strategy, and Sales or Operations experience
• Travel Experience Preferred: Extensive travel throughout Peru, especially the Cusco Region; Varied experience in other Latin American destinations
• Competencies: Professional communication skills, Process and Project Management, Problem-solving, CDP and ERP experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist the GM in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning across all departments.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
• Support the General Manager in managing and motivating a diverse team, creating a positive work environment.
• Work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
