You’ll have no trouble finding plenty of restaurant and bar options as well as great shopping during your stay at this fantastic little hotel. It is located in Siete Cuartones, and only two blocks away from the Plaza de Armas.  The first thing that catches your eye about this hotel is the majestic purple theme and original art that adorns the inn.  Although it’s unmatched innovative interior design could be a little much for the more conservative traveler, the unique charm and service par excellence makes this boutique one of our most highly recommended 4 Star stays.

Andean Wings hotel is fashioned from a 16th century colonial mansion whose large courtyard allows a soft luminescence to fill the room through the stained glass top which covers it.  This lovely area is used as restaurant seating where daily a la carte breakfast is served. Another charming accent this hotel offers is that every room is completely original,  For example, the Shipivo room’s design is inspired by the Shipivo women’s traditional embroidery from the Peruvian Amazon.  It is simple and elegant with lovely cream and dark brown coloring which accents the Shipivo patterns.  Another great option to pamper yourself with is the Illary Suite: king size bed, soft baby alpaca carpet, in-room Jacuzzi, and high ceilings with skylights that characterize the brilliance of the room—its namesake meaning shining/dawn.  Or try the two-story suite, Purple Haze, to immediately transport yourself to a modern designed room boldly painted purple and accented with black and white portrait photography of the people of Peru.

Andean Wings provides all of the amenities of a top quality hotel: WiFi, laundry service, room service, and very friendly staff. The hotel also provides personalized services including Swedish and deep tissue massages, Zen Shiatsu and other therapies in their Six Pumas Holistic Spa.  The on-site restaurant, Mandela’s Bar, offers a good variety of dining options to accommodate any occasion.  Whether you’re looking for a comfortable place to rest or exiting diversion, Andean Wings is an excellent option.  It will certainly be a highlight of your experience in the city of Cusco.

The staff is attentive and their unique form of turndown service is such that they place heated water bottles in your bed so that you can come home to the cozy pre-warmed comfortable bed, which can be much appreciated on those chilly Cusco nights. Details such as these are part of what make this little hotel such a charming place to catch a wink.  Casa San Blas Boutique also has a third floor open terrace which is great for relaxing or having a drink while you soak in the breathtaking views of Cusco by day or night.  Enjoy lunch or dinner at the on-site restaurant, Tika Gourmet Bistro.
